1855 Wine Bar

1855’s wine list is comprised of more than 250 different varieties of French wine, not only from Bordeaux, but from across France. Above and beyond including well-known classics on the list at 1855, we wanted to highlight some of the little-known gems that can be discovered from boutique, small batch vineyards. For those who want to deepen their oenological knowledge, we host a variety of tastings, classes, and special wine events.

The décor will immerse you in the world of wine—with chairs crafted by a local carpenter out of wine barrels, tables made from wooden wine cases, and wine themed art all around—making wine the centerpiece of your experience.

The 1855 Bar à Vin also features traditional French cuisine, served primarily in the form of delicious small plates, thus presented in a more casual and shareable way than at a traditional restaurant. We also offer full course menus for those who want to stay for dinner. 1855’s relaxing, casual, and friendly atmosphere is the perfect spot for friends to hang out with a glass of wine – or a cocktail or a beer if preferred – whether after work, for dinner, for weekend gatherings, or for special occasions.
