In 1985, at the age of just 24, Steve DiFillippo took a leap of faith by purchasing a modest family eatery on Newbury Street in Boston’s iconic Back Bay. As the city’s palate grew more sophisticated, so did Steve’s ambition. He meticulously reimagined the menu, curated a world-class wine cellar, and transformed the space into a premier culinary destination that quickly captured the hearts of critics and locals alike.
