Fuso 'Gamê' Gamay
🍷 LET’S MAKE GAMAY FUN AGAIN!
Some wines are made to be analyzed. Gamay is made to be enjoyed. It’s time to bring back one of France’s most legendary easy-drinking reds and remind everyone why this grape deserves a spot at the party.
Meet FUSO “Gamé” Gamay Saint-Romain, a seriously fun expression of Gamay from Côtes du Forez in France’s Loire region. Gamay Saint-Romain is an old local relative of the Gamay we associate with Beaujolais, grown here on high-elevation granitic soils. The result is light, vibrant and ridiculously drinkable.
Expect fresh raspberry, wild strawberry and bright red fruit, with white flowers, a little ginger-like spice and a refreshing citrusy edge. It’s juicy, energetic and light—the kind of red you can throw a slight chill on and keep pouring while the night gets going.
Pinot Noir drinker? This is your next adventure. Gamay shares Pinot’s lighter body and freshness, but turns up the juicy fruit and playful personality.
And food? Gamay is one of those reds that plays nicely with almost everything. Bring out the charcuterie, burgers, pizza, roast chicken, duck, grilled salmon, mushrooms and soft cheeses—or just order a few plates for the table and figure it out as you go.
Most importantly, don’t take this wine too seriously. Chill it. Pop it. Pour it. Grab your friends and celebrate something—or absolutely nothing.
Let’s make Gamay fun again. Grab a bottle of FUSO Gamé and join the comeback. 🍇
